Borned on May 25th, 1972 in Ferrara. Received a Laurea degree cum laude in Mechanical Engineering in 1998 from the University of Bologna.
In April 2002 he got the Doctorate of Philosophy from the University of Bologna with the discussion of a thesis on the modeling of sound propagation in fibrous materials.
From 2002 he is assistant researcher in Applied Acoustics at Engineering Department, University of Ferrara. Member of the training staff of the post-graduate Course for Technician in Acoustics held at the University of Ferrara. Member of the Italian Acoustics Association (AIA). Lecture in Noise Control and Lecture assistant in Appleid Acoustics for Mechanical Engineery.
Main research activities:
- Vibro-acoustics characterization of porous materials and experimental technique for their determination;
- Modeling of sound propagation in porous materials;
- Charatcerisation of noise emission of machinery;
- SEA, FEM and BEM modelling for the study of acoustical radiation and noise control;
- Acoustic Intensity.
